Back in my poly days i used to play Melty blood React with the guys in my class. It was indeed some fun times. Now I'm back to playing the 2nd installment of the game, Act Cadenza Version B on the PC. Finally had this game on the PC, it was out on the PS2 before the PC version, but i just couldnt find it. Lucky me that now I could play it as much as i want on my PC now. Well the 3rd installment is coming soon, with the next extension name as Actress Again. I will update as more scans of the game is being released. Currently i got 2 though, showcasing 2 new characters. Well i will reserve that for future posts as now im blogging about Act Cadenza.

Well the character rosters has increased to 22. New characters would be Neko-Arc and Kouma Kishima. Sicko will be real happy to see some neko action. Basically from new installments to any game franchises, especially if its a fighter, new stages/bgm/chars is normal and well expected from fans of this genre.

Standard Vs screen with some fancy japanese movelist and portraits of the chosen characters by the player. Kinda nifty. Well speaking about command list, that function has been added into training mode, therefore you dont needto check up a faq list if you wanna jack up some insane moves. Unless you wanna know the translations for the move names that is. Well here are some screenies for you guys to tempt you into playing this wonderful game:

Personal Rating:
Playability: 9/10
Character design: 8/10
Graphics and effects: 8/10
Game design: 8/10
Music: 8/10
Fun factor: 9/10
Brokenness: 6/10

Overall a great game to play. won't get bored easily unless you are a noob. Brokenness for this game is quite moderate, which can come in as a good thing sometimes. Pretty high ratings for me for this game. The only game that still tops my list is still the Guilty Gear franchise. Not saying this game is not good, just that its better than most typical doujin game but below my personal top favorite.
